First I Am Legend, now this? Come on Will Smith give me a break... where is the charming Date Doctor Alex (Hitch), the cool hot-headed old fashion police (i-Robot), the awesome ass-kicking black-suited monster-killing agent (Men In Black), or the determined and loving father (The Pursuit of Happyness)? He is just not cut out be a superhero and save the day, at least not by himself. Well in Hancock, he didn't exactly save the day. It's more like he ruined the day but whatever, he is not cut out for that either, at least not alone. To me, this movie is made more for the fans just to show them that "hey Will Smith has new movie". Whatever. With all that said, I did enjoy Hancock (so as I Am Legend). I just found it a disappointment in comparison with the others. I guess this is what always happens when you're very good, people always have an unreasonable expectation of you.

Well, this is another movie about a guy having facing big life problems -- marriage and career. This is piece to show the audience that sometime life can look so perfect on the surface but so distorted on the inside. It also involves a friendship between 2 people of the unlikely age. It shows that sometime there things that adult need to learn from kid and not just teaching him. Then finally, the lesson was to allow determination and friendship to guide you to a satisfying answer to yourself.

I had a very good impression of Aaron Eckhart from Thank You For Smoking and he didn't disappoint me either in this. Anyway, I was so confused of what exactly was the role of Jessica Alba in this? or was she just paid to do exactly what she did in the movie -- show her face and smile?

Meet Bill is definitely amusing and worth watching.

I think this is more humorous than funny. Well, I can't exactly tell what is good about this movie. In fact, I don't really remember anything other than the two guys trying to make their own movies and finally, they involved the whole village in their final movie. Hence, undoubtedly, I was kind of bored. Be Kind Rewind is more suited for serious movie goers. So be sure you know what you're going watch before scheduling this movie as your Friday night movie.

From what I read, this was supposed to be a gangster movie, but honestly, there is nothing gangster about it. The fighting was too sloppy and Fann Wong was too boyish. And let's not get started on the make up. Unbelievably, mud and dirts can actually make you look good. Mark Lee was supposed to be the comedy factor of the movie, but it didn't work out for me either. It was more silly rather than funny. If there is one feeling that I remember from watching a good Hong Kong gangster movie that would be fear. The sheer violence and mercilessness makes you frighten of that kind of society. Ah Long Pte Ltd didn't have that, at least not exactly.

Definitely, one of the best movie of the year, if not the best. I never thought a super hero comic adapted movie can be this good. Well the best so far for me would be Spiderman and Iron Man. But Dark Knight is on a whole different level. I don't just love the effect and the gadgets like I do for most super hero movies but I also love the thrill of the movie. Well, I think the X factor for this movie would be joker. Wow! he's way scarier than the comic joker. He really give me chills.

I was definitely blown away. A must-watch movie of the year.

Since I watched In Bruges before this, the first thing that came to my mind while watching Cassandra's Dream was "why does Colin Farrel always play this role?". In In Bruges, he was a hitman who was in sorrow for accidentally murdering a child while carrying out his assignment. While in Cassandra's Dream, he's an alcoholic-gambling addict who resent making the wrong choice of murdering an old man for his own good. Well, the movie captivating. Personally, I love the fact the movie doesn't tell you directly that this is the morale of the story but it allows us to derive conclusion for ourselves. Cassandra's Dream presents us with a real life issue where people have to make absolute and difficult choices, which may be regretful sometimes.

A good movie to watch and learn more about life.

I don't know if it is because I chose the wrong time to watch this movie or it is not my taste but somehow, I didn't find it as touching as the movie magazine said. In fact at some point, I found my self feeling rather bored because of the awkwardness of the whole situation. Towards the end when she was dying, it was supposed to make you feel sad and share the grief towards the lifeless silicon girl, but that didn't happen for me somehow.

Waste of time and money. The lameness completely overshadow the funniness of it. In fact, the movie is exactly what the title says "woodcock".

Wow... Love transcends species. Very beautifully done and superb animation. Definitely one of the must-watch 3D animation movie around.

I like the little creative idea of "human civilization starts from highest technology" at the end of it.

Hilarious stuff! Definitely much better than the first. It exceeded my expectations. I have to give it a thumb up for that. The movie is enjoyable throughout. I think the plot is more well-thought in the sense that the director makes use of different elements into the movie as well and not just jokes and stupidity such as romance and sentimentality. All in all, very funny. It made me laughed and chuckled throughout.

Plot: Best among all the 3 HSM.
Music: Overall better than HSM 2 but not as good as HSM 1.

I did enjoy the movie a lot. Personally, I think the music very much suits the movie but it's not the type of music that I'd play on my mp3 player. If you know what that means. But there are two songs that I really like though. Well, I guess this is last of HSM, unless they plan to make a UM or CM (University Musical / College Musical). lol I doubt so. Or are they?

This is a somewhat a you-get-it-but-you-don't-get it kind of movie. You get the plot but you don't get the logic. Or is it that because it's titled Babylon A.D. and the setting is in the hi-tech future, the logic can be ignored? I don't know... Personally, I have an objection to that, especially when it doesn't make sense to this level. They need to learn from Star War, Matrix or i-Robot to see how they do the logic. You can bluff the technology but you can't bluff the story otherwise it will leave viewer with a lot of question marks.

Personally, I'd put this into my rubbish-action-movie list. When I saw, the trailer I was expecting much more than just a trip to Thailand teach some a guy how to fight and assinate some gangsters. I guess this is always the problem with trailers. They make you anticipate so much out of so little. Truely disappointing. The fact that I'm most disappointed in is that he (Nicholas Cage) broke his Hitman codes, which had been hard drilled into his brain, immediately in an instance of emotional encounter. Isn't it supposed to be an absolute rule? Suddenly, it looks as if he's ready to throw away the rules any moment. After that, all the fiercely tough look just doesn't feel tough anymore.

A very funfilled Adventure of a man, his nephew and a mountain into the inner depth of the planet, "a world within a world". There is no villian no good guy no nothing. Well you can probably consider the environment and creatures in there as the villians and the 3 casts the good guys. But it's really more of an adventure to escape nature where they don't belong. It's nice movie to watch though. Nothing impressive in particular but nothing bad either.

A nice movie... It's a drama about a guy trying to recover from the depression of being dumped by his girlfriend by escaping to Hawaii, just to meet her there. Unfortunately for him, but anyway the recovery process still have to go on. lol. The whole movie basically take places mostly in Hawaii. So yeah you'll get to see a lot of Hawaii. The movie is average but I like the soundtrack.

Sick and Crazy. I like it! It's practically as what the title states Doomsday. One good take out point of this story for me is how worthless human lives can get. Survival desperation indeed can bring any man (and woman) back to who we are, barbarian, even if this is 21st century.

Recommended.

I think this movie is more funny in the lame sense rather than a humor sense. It's the kind of movie that will only make you laugh when you watch it for first time. For some, you may not even laugh at the first time.

What can I say? A nice academic-genius-turn-into-genius-black-jack-player movie probably can describe it all and at the same, not giving away any spoiler.

From the title, I thought I knew what the story is going to be about...but I was wrong. I thought it was about finding him and trying to capture him or sth... but the focus of this documentary is entirely different thing... this is only the excuse to get them on the path of filming what they're looking for. And that is the outlook of what's happening on the other side of the world and what the people over there are thinking. After you watch, you can say, "well, they only show what they want us to see..." I'd say whoever would make that comment is pretty stupid. Of course, they only show what they want us to see... if not why would they bother wasting effort and money to film things they don't want us to see... The thing is some arrogant or ignorant people might never thought about or see what-they-want-you-to-see that way before. At least this is a good reminder for us people that we must never stereotype or genalize thing and look at them case by case.
